I suppose life goes on! Actually, it has been pretty exciting here. On Saturday, I went to a branch BBQ on the beach, and it was an absolutely perfect day. I played Rugby for the first time (although it was only touch Rugby) and loved it! It may even replace my love for Ultimate frisbee, although I don't exactly understand the rules which makes it a little harder to play... also the fact that the weather was gorgeous and we were playing on the beach with an amazing view of the mountains and city might have made it more enjoyable. Nonetheless, it was great fun! I actually really like contact sports, haha. I don't know why, but my aggressive side comes out and surprises people who see me as normally passive and mild. As the Mexicans would say, I am a little fiesty!

I met some guys there who invited me on a hike to Lynn Peak. It was actually almost as grueling as Grouse and I felt pretty okay about myself because I kept a pace behind one guy but ahead of the other. I discovered another one of my loves in life... eating a packed lunch on top of a peak after a long hike. So peaceful!

On Tuesday night, one of the guys from the hike named Ben (the one on the left) took me out to the fanciest restaurant I have ever been to! It's called the Sandbar and it's a restaurant on Granville Island that overlooks the water. Ask me if you want to hear a good story about the evening ;)
hehehe.
